Roles and Responsibilities 01

Billing

  • Assisting Site to submit Advance Bank Guaranty (ABG), Performance Bank Guaranty (PBG), RBG, Insurance as per the contract conditions.
  • Timely preparation of Client Bills, Subcontractor / Piece Rate Contractor Bills ensuring accuracy.
  • Preparation of Final Bills as per site conditions

Work Order processing

  • Preparing Item Rate Analysis, getting it approved from the Quantity Survey In-charge / Project Manager.
  • Timely Vendor Registration in SAP.
  • Work Order processing for Subcontractor / Piece Rate Contractor

Assist in reconciliation of work completed vs. payment

  • Preparation of monthly reconciliation of work performed by Subcontractor / Piece Rate Contractor and payment received from client.
  • Preparation of material reconciliation statements

Provide support to the QS function

  • Preparation and submission of monthly liability statements to accounts after approval from Quantity Survey In-charge / Project Manager
  • Certification of Piece Rate Workmen (PRW) / Subcontractors bills and taking No Objection Certificate (NOC) from Personnel Department for onwards submission to Accounts Department for releasing the payment.
  • Providing assistance in documentation, reporting and Management Information System

Roles and Responsibilities 02

Specialized Roles and Responsibilities for billing activities of Marine & Industrial Projects

  • Quantity Survey / Billing activities (Client Billing and subcontract billing) of Marine Jetties, Berths, Breakwater, LNG Tanks, Harbors, Quay Wall, Material Handling, Industrial Structures and Green Energy Projects.
  • Getting validations from Project Manager, Construction Manager, Section In charges, QA/QC Incharge, Personnel & Admin In-charge and Accounts Manager before submitting it to client and clearing subcontractor bills.

RA Bills      

  • Preparation of RA bills reconciliation with respect to certified RA Bill (Statement of Claims Vs Certified), Identification of withheld quantity and deduction by client.

Key Objective of the Job Position

To ensure timely preparation of client and Subcontractor (SC) / Piece Rate Workmen (PRW) bills, reconciliation statements (work completed and material), and liability statements

Education Qualifications

Educational Essential: BE or B-Tech- Civil Engineering
Educational Desirable: PGDM- NICMAR

Computer Software Proficiency

MS Excel, MS Word, Power Point

Work Environment

Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience in Quantity Survey function in projects involving the construction of Marine Jetties, Berths, Breakwater, LNG Tanks, Harbors, Quay Wall, Material Handling, Industrial Structures and Green Energy Projects.
