Roles and Responsibilities 01

Project Management

  • Coordinating with multi discipline, Internal, External stake holder so as to ensure project work is executed to meet Project objectives of HSSE, Quality, Time, and Budget Ensure HSE adherence by all the stakeholders.
  • Perform various administrative duties as assigned by the Project Manager, such as creating presentations, meeting minutes, and Meeting action logs.
  • Create and maintain databases on project performance that track overall progress and the achievement of specific milestones.
  • Communicate project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels.
  • Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment, and information.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, plans, and reports; prepare customer deliverables including documentation and project drawings and ensure timely submittal.
  • Assist project management team with project initiation, project planning, execution of project work, monitoring and controlling, and project closeout.
  • Represent Company at customer/subcontractor coordination/ status reiview meetings.
  • Assist Project Manager by maintaining awareness of critical path activities affecting customer sensitive project deadlines. Support the implementation and maintenance of project management systems, including change management, cost tracking, and schedule tracking and optimization.
  • Spearheading activities like Equipment/Package and other items arrival at yard, Fabrication and Deck Stacking, String test for PGC, Pre-commissioning, load out and Commissioning are completed on schedule.
  •  Planning and execution of offshore activities in accordance with Company’s Operational Safety Procedures (OSP’s).

Roles and Responsibilities 02

Relationship and Claim Management

  • Ensure regular interactions and cordial relations with clients and client representatives
  • Ensure regular interactions with vendors/ Subcontractors.

Safety Management

  • Monitor safety during execution of project adhering to the norms of the clients & HSE policy to ensure zero incident/accident.
  • Emphasis on Safety workshop, Safety Drills, Safety Awareness.

  • Emphasis on organization learning and growth

Lesson Learned, Seamless Communication, Performance Management System, Subordinate Development Initiatives,

  • Monitoring the documentation of learning’s from the project on an annual basis.
  • Ensure adequate understanding of responsibilities of subordinates individually and collectively as a team to accomplish work assigned.
  • Grooming of sub-ordinates, coaching, mentoring, and providing timely assistance to subordinates. Address grievances of subordinates.

Key Objective of the Job Position

  • Execute the project as per budget, in accordance with the approved strategies, policies and procedures, quality, safety norms and revenue targets of AFCONS. 
  • To control, monitor and direct the Project team members in execution of the project and achieving Operational Excellence in all spears of Project Management.

Education Qualifications

Educational Essential: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering

Educational Desirable: Master’s Degree in Engineering, PGDM, PMP Certification

Experience Range

Minimum 15 to 18 years of experience in Projects involving Offshore Construction Management with minimum 5 years of experience in the capacity of Offshore Project coordinator.

Work Environment

May have to work long hours, including evenings and weekends. Work in all rough climatic conditions at Sea. Working at outdoors at Offshore construction sites so that they can monitor operations and solve problems May need to work extra hours to ensure that the projects meet their deadlines. May need to travel to work sites at domestic or overseas location. Deal & convince all types of people including labour & clients. Maintain a high-level Safety standard at work site as Offshore Construction work is risk prone. Maintain a high level of social contact.
