Afcons Infrastructure Limited is an Indian multinational construction and engineering company based in Mumbai. The company provides infrastructure services and is involved in the construction of infrastructure projects such as viaducts, flyovers, metros, bridges, pipelines, roads, ports, barrages, oil and gas projects etc

Roles and Responsibilities 01

1. Key skills and in-depth knowledge of following formwork & Scaffolding
system :
a. System Formwork
b. Scaffold/Staging
c. Site specific– Precast Moulds of I-Girder, U-Girder, Piercap,
Precast segments, Piers, Self-Standing Pier system, Retaining
walls, Raft etc.
2. Knowledge in Slip form, climbing formwork, Tunnel (NATM) lining gantry
will be an added advantage.
3. Formwork Management (selection, planning & procurement).
4. Support to the Tendering team during Tender stage for selection of the
appropriate construction method and Formwork system and obtaining
proposals from various competent Vendors.

5. Support to the Execution Team / BU Team in Post Award stage for
finalization of the Formwork System considering the constructability,
effective time cycle, productivity, optimum utilisation and cost
effective.
6. Planning, co-ordination of the Formwork for All the projects.
7. Tracking of in-house Formwork assets, usage, monitoring, productivity
Tracking project wise and maintaining the Formwork Inventory.
8. Identification of standard system components and site-specific
system.

9. Selection of the e􀆯ective Formwork schemes for various infrastructure
works/structures based on productivity and commercial – during
Tender stage and Post Award stage
10. Keep track on the formwork industry – domestic as well as globally for
new product updates, new technology, innovations in the Formwork
and its e􀆯ective implementation on our projects to get maximum
productivity and cost e􀆯ectiveness.
11. Advise Purchase Dept for supply of formwork & staging material and
ensuring adherence to all specifications.
12. Co-ordinate to provide Training with Hands on experience to the site
team (Engineers and Supervisors) on the system formwork and its
effective and proper utilisation with due care.

13. Providing the cost-effective formwork schemes based on the in-house available inventory formwork materials.
14. Keep track on Productivity of the Formwork system at site, Troubleshooting and providing alternate solutions. Effective management of the Formwork for All the AFCONS sites.

Key Objective of the Job Position

Education Qualifications

B.E/B.Tech (Civil /Construction technology) or
B.E/B.Tech + NICMAR PGD ACM or
M.E/M.Tech in construction Management

Computer Software Proficiency

Experience Range

• Minimum 15 years onsite Construction experience and conversant with various type of System Formwork, Site specific Formwork, Proficient in Planning, & Management, coordination and have knowledge about Selection of Formwork System, Commercial aspects, Innovative ideas.
