Roles and Responsibilities 01
Execution Management:
- Oversee the execution of E&I installation activities on offshore platforms, ensuring alignment with project specifications and schedules.
- Coordinate closely with construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure seamless integration of electrical and instrumentation systems.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with project safety, quality, and environmental standards during execution.
Installation Oversight:
- Supervise the installation of electrical and instrumentation equipment, including power distribution systems, control systems, and instrumentation devices.
- Ensure all installation work is performed according to design specifications and industry standards.
- Resolve installation issues promptly, working with teams to implement corrective actions and adjustments as necessary.
Roles and Responsibilities 02
Commissioning and Testing:
- Lead the commissioning phase for electrical and instrumentation systems, ensuring systems are tested, calibrated, and validated to meet operational requirements.
- Develop and execute detailed testing and commissioning plans, including performance verification and system integration.
- Address and resolve any technical issues encountered during commissioning to ensure systems are fully operational.
Project Coordination:
- Act as the primary point of contact for all E&I execution-related matters, providing regular updates and reports to project management and stakeholders.
- Facilitate coordination between different disciplines and project teams to ensure timely resolution of inter-disciplinary issues.
- Manage project schedules and resource allocations related to E&I activities to avoid delays and cost overruns.

Quality Assurance:
- Implement and oversee quality control measures for E&I installation and commissioning activities.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure adherence to quality standards and project requirements.
- Document and address any non-conformance issues, ensuring that corrective actions are taken.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a team of E&I engineers and technicians, providing guidance on technical issues and execution strategies.
- Foster a collaborative and efficient work environment, ensuring clear communication and effective teamwork.

Documentation and Reporting:
- Ensure comprehensive documentation of all E&I execution activities, including installation records, test results, and compliance reports.
- Prepare and deliver detailed progress reports and technical documentation to project stakeholders.
Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE):
- Promote a strong safety culture and enforce adherence to HSE policies and procedures.
- Conduct safety briefings, risk assessments, and ensure that all E&I activities comply with safety regulations.
Key Objective of the Job Position
- We are seeking a highly experienced Lead - Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) professional to take charge of the execution and implementation of E&I activities for offshore oil and gas EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects. This role is crucial for ensuring that all E&I systems are installed, tested, and commissioned effectively, on time, and within budget.
Education Qualifications
Educational Essential: Bachelor’s Degree of Engineering in Electrical/ Electronics/ Instrumentation.
Educational Desirable: Master’s Degree in Engineering.
Experience Range
- 15+ Years of hands-on experience in electrical and instrumentation execution within offshore oil and gas projects, with a minimum of [Y] years in a lead role.

- Proven expertise in the installation, commissioning, and testing of electrical and instrumentation systems.
