Roles and Responsibilities 01

  • Reviewing Planning – viz. schedule, equipment deployment schedule, CAPEX as per contractual requirements.
  • Reviewing installations and enabling works provisions.
  • Providing value additions / inputs on probable and feasible construction methods and schemes that can optimize the costs.
  • Planning and developing construction methodology.
  • Guiding Project Management Team and Head Office Engineering department in development and review of construction methodology and schemes including enabling and installation works.
  • Suggesting optimum method & schemes.

    Effective utilization of Primavera for Schedule monitoring / Project performance.
  • Scheduling variances and impacted / acceleration schedule,
  • Resource utilization and variances, activity productivity monitoring, time cycle monitoring.
  • Enabling works construction concepts – time & costs w.r.t plan
  • Monitoring and analyzing changes in actual implementation of construction methods and schemes w.r.t agreed and approved methods.

Roles and Responsibilities 02

Ongoing Project stage: Annual Project Budget Review

  • Guiding in Overall / Yearly Project Budget and Schedule and preparation of Detailed Work Plan (activities) based on the project objectives and contractual specifications and develop a schedule.
  • Reviewing the Compilation of Resource Requirement – Manpower, Material and Equipment
  • Reviewing the analysis of rates obtained for Resources.

    Ongoing Project stage: Annual Project Budget Review
  • Reviewing development of Project Budget and Schedule
  • Helping Budget Review Committee placed at Head office to review and approve budget submitted by BU
  • Establishing and improvising on the processes set for monitoring of Projects performance / health and update the Sr. Management on:
  • Reviewing the issues impacting the project’s performance, present critical issues, and likely / foreseeable issues in next three months.
  • Taking corrective measures / suggestions proposed by taking the Buy-in of project management and monitoring of its implementation.
  • Assessment of impact on Projects Profitability and completion.
  • Coordinating with other support departments (logistics, design, HR, CPE etc.) to ensure the Project’s issues are addressed on time and resolved to a large extent.
  • Conducting regular site visits of Core-MEG Anchor Planners.
  • Analysis of project cost and identification of avenues for cost reduction

Roles and Responsibilities 03

Preparation of Work Plans for Ongoing Projects.

Preparation of Project Workpaln, Construction & Segmental Methodologies for Tender Stage Projects.

Budget Preparation with the Cash Flow Projections.

Preparation of Construction & Segmental Methodologies with available Resources.

Project Costing, Quantity Estimation and Verification of Reconciliation of Major Material Consumption.

MIS Analysis for Ongoing Projects.

Monitoring of Physical & Financial Progress.

To develop business processes, optimise project performance, to actively contribute to tendering and bid evaluation processes, to gauge method, schedule, cost, and constructability risk in ongoing projects.

Education Qualifications

Educational Essential: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering 
Educational Desirable: Post-Graduate Degree in Engineering or Construction Management

Computer Software Proficiency

MS-Office suite of applications, Primavera P-6, AutoCAD; Knowledge of additional structural modelling/ analysis tools are an added advantage.
