Roles and Responsibilities 01
Ensuring adherence to quality norms while execution
- Ensuring overall delivery of tasks pertaining to site as per timelines, project specifications, AFCONS procedures and quality standards.
- On-site execution of work at site as per planned budget and specifications.
- Identifying opportunities for application of good engineering practices / innovative practices to enhance quality of delivery and communicating the same to the Construction Manager, Section In-charge etc.
Specialized Roles and Responsibilities for Water Supply Segment
- Able to monitor electrical operations related to maintenance & repairs of equipment involved in water supply projects.
- Able to monitor operations related to ERP-SAP / MS Windows.
- Ensure preparation of Work Method statements / Risk assessment.
Overseeing optimum resource utilization at site
- Ensuring optimum usage of equipment allocated on site.
- Overseeing optimum use of material on site
- Identifying areas for waste reduction.
- Overseeing activities of personnel at site
- Ensuring availability of personnel by raising timely requisitions to Project Manager.
Roles and Responsibilities 02
Build and sustain harmonious relationships with external entities
- Ensuring regular interactions and cordial relations with clients and client representatives.
- Maintaining harmonious relations with local community representatives, subcontractors and subcontracted workmen.
Safety Management
- Ensuring that safety is a top priority and adhering to the norms of Plants and Equipment Safety policy and Health Safety & Environment (HSE) policy to ensure zero incidents / accidents.
- Regularly reviewing plants and equipment’s safety performance and taking corrective action when necessary.
- Collaborating with project safety department to ensure that safety workshops, safety drills, and safety awareness programs are conducted to increase safety awareness among the project team.
- Developing a safety culture within the project team and encouraging all team members to take responsibility for safety.

Key Objective of the Job Position
To ensure availability of Electric power Electrical Operated Equipment and plants . Electric spares, accessories at all key project locations to enable on time and within budget.
Education Qualifications
Educational Essential: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
Educational Desirable: Electrical Supervisor License /Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering

Experience Range
Work Environment
Work in all climatic conditions, at heights and underground works. Need to split their time between working in an office and working outdoors at construction sites so that they can monitor operations or solve problems May need to work extra hours to ensure that the projects meet their deadlines. May need to travel to work sites at domestic or overseas location. Deal & convince all types of people (Including labour to project manager & clients), Maintain a high-level safety standard at work site as civil construction work is risk prone. Maintain a high level of social contact.
