Roles and Responsibilities 01
1. Medical Care & Treatment:
- Provide primary healthcare services to employees, including diagnosis, treatment, and referral for specialized care when necessary.
- Manage medical emergencies, including administering first aid and stabilizing patients for evacuation, if required.
- Maintain and monitor an on-site pharmacy and ensure the availability of essential medications and medical supplies.
2. Health Surveillance:
- Conduct routine health check-ups for all employees to identify and address health concerns promptly.
- Monitor and manage chronic medical conditions among staff to minimize health risks.
- Implement disease prevention programs, including vaccination drives and regular health screenings.
3. Occupational Health & Safety:
- Collaborate with safety officers to ensure compliance with workplace health and safety standards.
- Assess and address potential health hazards at the site, such as exposure to extreme weather, noise, dust, or hazardous materials.
- Provide guidance and training on health and hygiene best practices, including COVID-19 or infectious disease protocols.

4. Record Management:
- Maintain detailed and confidential medical records for all site employees.
- Generate regular health reports to inform management about workforce health trends.
- Ensure compliance with local and international regulations regarding medical documentation.
5. Emergency Response:
- Develop and update the site’s medical emergency response plan.
- Organize and conduct regular emergency drills in collaboration with the site safety team.
- Coordinate with local healthcare facilities for advanced medical care and evacuation procedures.
6. Health Promotion & Awareness:
- Organize workshops and sessions on topics such as nutrition, mental health, and substance abuse prevention.
- Foster a culture of wellness among site employees by encouraging healthy lifestyles.
Key Objective of the Job Position
Education Qualifications
- MBBS or equivalent degree from a recognized institution. Additional certifications in occupational health or emergency medicine are preferred.
Computer Software Proficiency
Experience Range
Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in clinical practice. Prior experience in remote, industrial, or construction site settings is highly desirable.
Licensing: Valid medical license recognized by the host country or international medical boards.
Skills:
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in handling medical emergencies.
- Familiarity with occupational health and safety standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
